| Customer Reviews: A Little Longer Please... July 8, 2007 Silly (Fairfax, VA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
We bought this in conjunction with the Highland 10391 Kar Pak Waterproof Soft-Sided Car Top Carrier - 15 cubic feet and found it to be a little short. We ended up doubling-up a pair to meet the length requirements, and getting 2 more to really secure the Kar Pak to the car....but maybe we're overly cautious too.
Highland 92105 10' x 1" Ratchet Tie Down , 900 pound capacity- Set of 4 April 10, 2007 J. P. Highley (Los Angeles) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are priced right...and you seem to get what you paid for. The mechanism in the ratchet device sometimes gets stuck when you are trying to release the tie-down...but this happens 1-in-20 times...not enough to worry about. Again...the price is right.
Don't bother... Lousy Quality. December 4, 2006 JJClarkin (Boston, MA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
They broke the first time that I used them. The locking mechanism is cheap and slides out of its intended slot. Don't waste your money on this item.
Don't Waste Your Money September 14, 2009 Richard C. Alverson (Florida) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The ratchets are CHEAPLY made. Three out of four were not usable after just one use. Don't waste your money, go to Lowe's and buy a better set at a better price. By the way, this is the first time I have ever left negative comments, so that should tell you how bad these were!!
